From the first message to the handover.
Solar Connect runs a solar job on one record per customer: the WhatsApp chat, the survey, the roof design, the signed proposal, the payments, the installation and the after-sales. It is the software we run a real solar company on, every day, at Solar Citizen in Pakistan.
How a job runs
Six stages, one record. Each stage picks up what the last one left, so nothing is typed twice and nobody has to ask where a job is.
Sales on WhatsApp
Shams, our AI sales agent, answers customers on WhatsApp in English and Roman Urdu, understands voice notes, and turns a photo of an electricity bill into a quote. Its rules are enforced in code, not left to the prompt: it cannot leak a price, offer an early discount or invent a link. When a customer is ready, a named rep takes over, with a reminder if nobody has replied within 45 minutes and a daily call list. Follow-ups stop on their own when customers say no.
Survey and design
The site survey feeds straight into the quote, and the customer is told when the survey changes it. The roof designer uses Google's roof data to lay out panels automatically across six mounting structures, accounts for row shading, shows the roof in 3D and prints drawing sets. Production estimates are calibrated against 206 real systems that Sol AI monitors, and string wiring is checked against the panel and inverter datasheets before anything is quoted.
Proposal and signature
Every customer gets their own proposal page. They choose between Essential, Recommended and Premium packages, compare them side by side, see the payback and returns, and request a proforma invoice. They sign on screen, and the signed PDF is stored write-once with a tamper-evident fingerprint.
Payments and procurement
Payment requests go out against milestones, and customers upload their receipts to the same page. Work holds automatically on an unpaid invoice. The bill of materials becomes the buy list, with vendors and a delivery check-in on site.
Installation
Installation runs through stages with photos, issues and a quality checklist. The customer follows a live timeline of their own job, including proof of when the team visited.
Handover and after-sales
The job closes with a handover certificate the customer confirms, then service tickets, warranty and referral rewards. From the day it is commissioned, the system is watched by Sol AI.
Where Sol AI ends and Solar Connect begins
Solar Connect — the job
The sale, the design, the paperwork, the installation and the handover, on one record per customer. Quoted per portfolio, sold through direct enquiry.
Sol AI — the system
Watches systems that are already generating. Reads inverters over their manufacturer APIs, finds string-level faults and prices them. Priced per home, per month.
Where it runs today
Solar Connect was built for Solar Citizen, our sister installation company, and runs its sales and installations in Pakistan every day. We offer it to installers in Pakistan and similar markets, set up around how your team already works.
Questions
Who is Solar Connect for?
Installers and EPCs who sell and install solar, and whose jobs currently live in WhatsApp chats, spreadsheets and one person's memory. It was built for Solar Citizen, our sister installation company in Pakistan, and runs its sales and installations every day.
Is Solar Connect available in the US?
Not yet. Its sales and design steps are built around how solar is sold in Pakistan and similar markets today: WhatsApp first, local currency and local paperwork. In the US we lead with Sol AI monitoring.
How is Solar Connect different from Sol AI?
Solar Connect runs the job: the sale, the design, the paperwork, the installation and the handover. Sol AI watches the system once it is generating and finds what is wrong. A Solar Connect job hands over to Sol AI monitoring on the day it is commissioned.
Where does Solar Connect use AI?
In the places where it saves people time: the sales agent on WhatsApp, building a quote from a photo of an electricity bill, and reading panel and inverter datasheets. Panel layout, string checks and production estimates are engineering rules and physics, and our engineers check the datasheet figures.
Can my customers see their own project?
Yes. Each customer gets a private link to their own project, with no app or login needed. From it they can choose and sign their proposal, pay against milestones, follow the installation and confirm the handover.
How do I get started?
With a short conversation. Solar Connect is set up for each business around its portfolio and the way its team already works, so we start by understanding both.
What does Solar Connect cost?
It is quoted against your portfolio rather than sold at a list price, because deployments vary by size and by how much of the job you want to run inside it. Sol AI monitoring, by contrast, is priced at $1.50–3 per home per month.
